The original Deep Banana Blackout lineup will reunite for two northeast performances this March. The Connecticut funk collective will play at New Havens Toads Place on March 10 and New Yorks Bowery Ballroom March 12. Jen Durkin officially left Deep Banana Black in August 2000, later joining The Bomb Squad. Hope Clayburn assumed vocals in Deep Banana Blackout, before the group went on hiatus in 2002. In July 2003, the original Deep Banana Blackout lineup reunited for a performance at the Gathering of the Vibes. Since then the group has gigged periodically throughout the Northeast.
