Next week, New Yorks Club El Flamingo will host a hybrid music gig/narrative play. Rockshow relates the story of a fictional bands travails. Two artists who have some experience in this regard will participate. On Wednesday the 19th Rhett Miller (Old 97’s) will perform and the next night Chris Barron (Spin Doctors) will do the same. The shows tagline is Sex Drugs and Group Therapy which could well make for an entertaining evening in a Metallica: Some Kind of Monster kind of way.
