Drew Emmitt has been touring as of late in a quartet featuring Greg Garrison on the bass and vocals, Matt Flinner on banjo and Ross Martin on guitar. The group will continue to gig this month and next, with a shows confirmed for this coming weekend at Aspen’s Wheeler Opera House, a brief southern run at the months end and then some additional shows in mid-February. Prior to the February dates the group is planning to enter the studio to work on its next recording, which will feature some of the material the Emmitt had been writing as of late with Jim Lauderdale.
