A number of former Jammy Award winners and performers have been nominated for this years Grammy Awards. Nominations were announced this morning in over 100 categories, representing a wide spectrum of musical genres. Jammy winners the Allman Brothers Band are nominated for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for Instrumental Illness, alongside Rush, Steve Vai, Brian Wilson, and Los Lonely Boys. The Los Lonely Boys, who in the past year performed at Bonnaroo and earned a Relix Spotlight, are nominated for several high profile awards including Best New Artist and Record of the Year. Bruce Hornsby and Ben Harper also face off in the Best Pop Instrumental Performance category. Other notables receiving nods this year include Bob Dylan, Alison Krauss and 2004 Jammy performer Toots Hibert
