Since the core members of the Dead have announced that there will not be a New Years Eve performance, many fans are peering into 2005. Following the cancellation of the fall RatDog tour, that band has just started to announce some of the rescheduled dates with the first up being the two nights at New Yorks Beacon Theater which will take place on April 15 and 16. Meanwhile, a revamped Phil Lesh & Friends will perform three nights at the Warfield on December 16-18 with additional gigs pledged for the next year. Beyond that there are no other confirmed plans for what will represent the 40th Anniversary of the Grateful Dead.
