Casting our glance back a bit further to last Thursday, Boston area guitarist Brad Barr joined Yonder Mountain String Band for much of the second set during its show at the Roxy. Barr came out during Mother’s Only Son and also contributed to a set closing segued segment that ran from Dawn’s Early Light into Ruby on through Two Hits & The Joint Burned Brown and back into Ruby. The Slip will pick up its touring in the northeast this Friday in Portland, ME, while Yonder is traveling south with a gig at the Starr Hill Music Hall in Charlottesville, VA on Wednesday.
