The new year will mark change in direction for the three members of nero. The band has announced that after six years of performances together it will begin a ‘Sabbatical-Chasm’ on January 1. nero has indicated that ‘It’s a Sabbatical in the sense that we will be continuing to explore music as well as continuing to improve our abilities and musical offerings. It is a Chasm in the sense that it will be a sudden interruption of the continuity of the band and its current path.’ The group has no upcoming dates currently announced on its web site but some additional gigs are forthcoming leading up to the stasis.
