Tonight at New York’s Roseland Ballroom Gov’t Mule is expected to highlight tomorrow’s release of Deja Voodoo, the first studio effort by the current quartet. It is anticipated that the band will present one set that focuses on the on the new songs, which the band not performed live prior to the recording them for the disc. In addition, as per previous Mule special events, a guest musician or two is likely to take the stage. Last evening at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, Soulive’s Neal Evans and Eric Krasno sat in on ‘Sco-Mule’ while Deep Banana Blackout’s Rob Somerville and Cyrus Madden appeared for ‘The Spider and The Fly.’
