GratefulFest will return to Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, OH on July 2-5. The event features three days of Dark Star Orchestra along with performances by Keller Williams, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, David Gans, The Shantee and many others. This year DSO will be hosting a raffle to benefit the International Rett Syndrome Association (Jessica the 9 year old daughter of the park’s owners and managers is afflicted with the disorder). So on Sunday DSO will break from form and rather than recreate a prior Dead set the band will offer a night of music made up entirely of audience requests. A $5 donation will allow someone to offer a song suggestion and gain entry into a raffle with more than twenty prizes including the Jerry Garcia Box Set, the Closing of the Winterland DVD and signed items from Warren Haynes, Keller William and Dark Star Orchestra,. Details are available at the Dark Star Orchestra web site.
