On five consecutive nights, from June 22-26, Skerik will lend his patent-pending saxophonics to the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey. The four musicians will route up the California coast during these performances, beginning at Winston’s in San Diego and concluding at The Independent in San Francisco. Early in JFJO’s career the band performed with horns before winnowing down to the current trio.
