Oteil Burbridge and Yosi Piamenta are both spiritual individuals who are deeply-committed to their religious beliefs. Thus it is not surprising that the two enjoyed their initial meeting when they performed together at an Oteil and the Peacemakers show in NYC this past March. At the close of that evening the pair immediately spoke about playing together once again and they will finally do so at New York’s Crash Mansion on June 16. Piamenta, the ‘Hasidic Hendrix’ will play guitar, Burbridge will add bass and Piamenta band drummer Asaf Shor will fill out the trio.
