The latest release from Billy Martin’s Amulet Records draws on turntable sessions that the drummer has hosted at various NYC venues over the past three years. The Turntable Sessions Volume 1 features contributions from Martin along with his two MMW bandmates, as well as such artists as DJ Olive, Scotty Hard, Dean Bowman and Matt Moran. Meanwhile, in other Amulet news, Illy B Eats Vol 2 the second collection of break beats from Martin (illy B) is also available. As with the initial illy B release, the label is soliciting performers who use these beats in original compositions to submit their efforts to the label.
