Uncle Sammy which last performed more than 7 months ago, has confirmed some additional tour dates beginning in May. As of late the quartet’s members have been involved with other projects: bassist Brian O’Connell in the Gordon Stone Band, drummer Tom Arey and keyboardist Beau Sasser in the Akashic Record (Arey is also performing with Caroline Gulde) and guitarist Max Delaney with his own trio. As for US, the band will return on May 14 for a cancer benefit at the Arch Street Tavern in Hartford, CT, followed by dates at Harper’s Ferry in Boston, MA on May 27 and then that weekend at the Peace Jam Festival, Norridgewock, ME. Some June and July shows are also confirmed as well, with updated information and tour dates for all of the members various endeavors available at the band’s web site.
