On May 15, Strangers Helping Strangers will host an event at Mexicali Blues in Teaneck, NJ. The organization hopes to raise funds in part to help subsidize its legal efforts to attain 501c3 non-profit status. Strangefolk’s Luke ‘Patchen’ Montgomery and Erik Glockler will perform an acoustic set (which is apt since SHS was founded by Folk fans). Scarecrow Collection and Nomadic Design will open the night, which will conclude with a collective improv featuring Montgomery and Glockler as well as the member of The Unbelievable Meltdown, Tor Krautter of the Reverend Tor Band and Tim Nayfield (Sage).
