In what has tuned into something of an old-school Jambands.com Daily News sit-in report, we offer up additional on-stage doings from the weekend. On Saturday night following the Allman Brothers Band show at the Beacon Theater a number of artists (and audience members) traveled downtown to the Knitting Factory Tap Bar for a performance by the Codetalkers. At one point Colonel Bruce Hampton offered salutations to Mike Gordon, Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks and the former two musicians later appeared with the group. Gordon in particular looked resplendent, juxtaposed with the Codetalkers black suits in his own blue formalwear (shades of own Dr. Dean Budnick at the 2004 Jammys).
