New York’s Knitting Factory Tap Bar will provide the setting for the latest Soul Temple session which will take place on Saturday. This installment of the late night jam will feature Topaz on tenor sax and Cochemea ‘Cheme’ Gastelum on alto along with ulu alum Justin Wallace on bass, Eric Bolivar (Bomb Squad) behind the kit, keyboardist Borahm Lee (Topaz) and guitar player Brian Vargas (Ya Esta!). As with previous Soul Temple performances the group will work up standards, deliver extended improvisations and present some of the artists’ original material.
