The Bass Powerjam Extravaganza will take place on February 13 at the Gothic Theatre in Denver following the moe./Galactic co-bill at The Fillmore. The night will open with a set from Oteil & The Peacemakers, followed by a set from the latest project assembled by funky Meters bandmates George Porter Jr. and Brian Stoltz. This will be proceeded by the Powerjam, which will feature Burbridge, Porter and Stoltz with other musicians set to participate including String Cheese Incident keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth, and one would imagine, additional bass players (with last minute additions expected).
