Strangefolk has announced that this years Garden of Eden festival will be its final performance before taking an undetermined amount of time off from performing live…We will spend this time pursuing other musical and personal goals but as of now we have no plans to perform as Strangefolk after Labor Day Weekend 2003, the group said in a statement. The Garden of Eden festival will be held August 30 September 1 at Crete Park in Plattsburgh, NY. The line-up includes Strangefolk, Max Creek, Gordon Stone Trio, Dexter Grove, and Peter Prince & the Trauma Unit.
In other news, the Folk will release a double live CD, Coast to Coast Volme 2, which will be available at live shows later this month.
The band plays this afternoon at the Gathering of the Vibes in Mariaville, NY. The summer schedule is available at www.strangefolk.com.
