Panic Fans For Food will host a food drive next Friday, July 18, in Mobile, Alabama when Widespread Panic performs at the Civic Center. The non-profit organization will be accepting cans and other non-perishable food items, as well as cash donations, at various collection points in the parking lot outside the show. There will also be a collection point set up Thursday night (7/17) through Friday at noon at The Soul Kitchen, located at 455 Dauphin Steet. Donations will benefit the Bay Area Food Bank, which serves Mobil and the surrounding areas.
In the four years since its inception, PFFF has collected over four tons of food and $21,000 in donations. Complete details are available at www.panicfansforfood.org.
