Willie Nelson sat in with Neil Young & Crazy Horse Saturday at Willies Picnic in Austin, TX. Nelson joined in for Youngs staple, Down by the River. The show was one of only two U.S. dates that have not featured a complete theatrical performance of Neils forthcoming album, Greendale, due in late August (the only other exception was Bonnaroo). The seven-song set also included Powderfinger, Prisoners of Rock n Roll, Roll Another Number (For The Road)’ and Rockin In The Free World.
Young and Crazy Horse play next on July 16 at White River Amphitheater in Auborn, WA. The official website is www.neilyoung.com.
