Strangefolk has announced plans for the 8th Annual Garden of Eden festival. The event will once again take place on Labor Day Weekend, August 30 31, at Crete Center Park in Plattsburgh, NY. This marks the first time the festival will not be held in the bands home state of Vermont. The band has always been very conscious about keeping Eden close to home, says manager Allen Ostroy. We chose Crete Center Park in Plattsburgh, NY not only because we can now offer things like beer gardens, showers, and convenient parking, but also because the site is set on a delightful, sandy beach on the gorgeous shores of Lake Champlain only 30 miles from Burlington, VT!’ Several other acts will be added in the coming weeks.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. EST. Fans that order Early Bird tickets (prior to July 20) will receive a free copy of Strangefolks Garden of Eden DVD, shot at last years event. For complete details, visit www.strangefolk.com.
