Particle invited a plethora of special guests to the stage during its late night set Saturday at Summer Camp in Chilicothe, IL. Bassist Oteil Burbridge stepped in for an extended version of Windjammer. moe. drummer Vinnie Amico then emerged for Elevator and remained for Metropolis, which also featured moe. guitarists Al Schnier and Chuck Garvey as well as bassist Rob Derhak. Schnier and Umphreys Mcgee guitarist Jake Cinninger later collaborated with Particle on Led Zeppelins Whole Lotta Love. In addition, Umphreys Mcgee percussionist Andy Farag joined the group for the majority of the set.
The following day at the Big Wu Family Reunion, trumpeter Willie Waldman and bassist Rob Wasserman jammed with Particle on Another Brick in the Wall.
