Terrapin Presents has announced plans for the inaugural Bridgeport Blues Festival, which will be held Labor Day weekend, August 30 and 31, at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT. The line-up includes some of the worlds most influential musicians – B.B. King, Chuck Berry and James Brown – as well as James Cotton, Walter Wolfman Washington, Robert Cray, Jeff Beck, Marcia Ball, Galactic, The Holmes Brothers and Mofro. The festival is being produced in conjunction with the city of Bridgeport, in celebration of the Year of the Blues. Fans may remember Seaside Park as the site of the Gathering of the Vibes in 1999 and 2000.
