The Charlie Hunter Trio took the stage with String Cheese Incident Friday at the Asheville Civic Center in Asheville, NC. Midway through the first set, Hunter, saxophonist John Ellis and percussionist Derrek Phillips joined the band for a rendition of John Coltrane’s ‘Impressions.’
String Cheese Incident plays Wednesday at Shyrock Auditorium on the campus of the Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL (note the venue change, as the show was originally scheduled for SIU Arena).
