The Dreaming The Same Dream Tour resumed last night at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater in Key West, FL. These shows feature Gov’t Mule, Ziggy Marley and a guest DJ set from Yola. For each ticket sold on this tour. $2 will be donated to Food For The Poor Jamaica to provide relief and humanitarian efforts in the wake of Hurricane Melissa.
In addition to her DJ duties, Yola has also been sitting in with the Mule. At Raleigh, NC’s Red Hat Amphitheater on Saturday he joined in for a cover of Kris Kristofferson’s “Me And Bobby McGee.” Then on Sunday at Richmond, VA’s Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront it was Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog.”
Last evening in Key West, Yola appeared for a version of “I’d Rather Go Blind.” The tune originally appeared on Etta James’ 1968 studio album Tell Mama. Gov’t Mule debuted the song on 8/19/10 at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion, Columbus, OH and performs it infrequently, most recently on 4/10/26 at The Refinery in Charleston, SC.
Last night’s setlist appears below at look at Yola’s Saturday’s guest appearance with the group.
