Mike Farris, vocalist for the Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies, took the stage with Govt Mule last night at the Opera House in Toronto, Ontario. Farris emerged during the encore to add vocals and harmonica to Simple Man. Mike has collaborated with Mule a handful of times in the past, dating back to 1996.
Govt Mules line-up for this tour features founding members Warren Haynes and Matt Abts, along with bassist Andy Hess and keyboardist Danny Louis. The group confirmed earlier this week that it will announce a permanent bassist in May.
The band plays tonight at the Water Street Music Hall in Rochester, NY. For the complete itinerary, visit www.mule.net.
