Superfly Productions has announced plans for the 7th annual Mardi Gras Music Festival. The event will be held March 1 and 2 at Twiropa Mills in New Orleans and includes Galactics Carnival Electricos, the second annual all-day Mardi Gras bash, scheduled for March 1. The event will feature Galactics final performance on its Freezestyle Tour 2003, as well as appearances by DJ Z-Trip, the ReBirth Brass Band, the Wild Magnolias Mardi Gras Indians, special guests, and other acts to be announced soon.
The festival continues on March 2 with Cowboy Mouths Rock n Roll Ball, with special guest Robert Earl Keen.
Galactics Freezestyle Tour 2003 kicks off tonight at Jannus Landing in St. Petersburg, FL. The complete schedule is up at www.galacticfunk.com.
