Members of The Motet, Deep Banana Blackout and Living Daylights kick off their Speaking in Tongues mini-tour tonight at The Grottos in Aspen, CO. The line-up features drummer Dave Watts (The Motet), guitarist Fuzz (Deep Banana Blackout), saxophonist Jessica Lurie (Living Daylights), bassist Garrett Sayers (The Motet, Miracle Orchestra) and keyboardist Dave Ciere (Chief Broom). The ensemble will perform seven shows in Colorado, beginning with tonights gig, billed as A public display of musical intercourse. The band plays tomorrow at Tracks in Leadville (A Fun Experience for the Hole Family), Thursday at The Wolf Den in Steamboat (A Very Cool Space to be in), Friday at The Fox Theatre in Boulder (Good sounds, good people, good times), Saturday at Quixotes in Denver (Its what all the kids are talkin about) and Sunday at 32 Bleu in Colorado Springs (The total package).
