Bela Fleck & the Flecktones have announced plans for a new double studio album slated to be released in the spring. In the meantime, both Victor Wooten and Jeff Coffin will mount solo tours this month, the latter with drummer Jeff Sipe, bassist Derek Jones and Pat Happy Bergeson. Wooten is also working on a new solo disc.
The Flecktones will return to the road in early February, making multiple stops in the Southeast, Northeast and West. The extensive schedule is up at www.flecktones.com.
