Garage A Trois has signed a multi-album deal with Tone Cool Records. The line-up features 8-string guitarist Charlie Hunter, drummer Stanton Moore (Galactic), saxophonist Skerik (Les Claypools Frog Brigade, Critters Buggin) and vibraphonist/percussionist Mike Dillon. The quartet will release its debut full-length studio album in late April, to coincide with appearances in New Orleans during Jazz Fest.
Hunter, Moore and Skerik first performed together in 1998 during the recording of Stantons solo album All Kooked Out!. Fog City Records subsequently released Garage A Trois vinyl-only EP titled Mysteryfunk.
