Phish keyboardist Page McConnell and Michael Franti took the stage with Trey Anastasio and his band at last nights tour opener at Memorial Auditorium in Burlington, VT. Franti and Radioactive of Spearhead joined the band for the last song of the first set, Small Axe. For the encore, First Tube, McConnell emerged to play piano.
Michael Franti and Spearhead performed at nearby Higher Ground in Winooski later in the night. Anastasio and trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick joined the group for a portion of the set.
