Merl Saunders is recovering in a San Francisco hosptial after suffering a stroke this past Thursday. As of this morning, he was stable and alert. Saunders was diagnosed with cancer in March. Well wishers can send letters and cards to Summertone Records, PO Box 22184, San Francisco, CA 94122.
