Bassist Bobby Vega (Zero, KVHW, Steve Kimock Band) has formed a new band called Funky Uncle. The group consists of Vega, Jerry Cortez on guitar, Jimmy Sanchez on drums, John Lee Sanders on keyboards, vocals and saxophone and Tim Hockenberry on keyboards, vocals and trombone. The band will play November 3 at the Powerhouse Brewery in Sebastopol, CA. No other performances have been announced at this time.
