Nearly $3,000 was raised for the Mimi Fishman Foundation and The American Red Cross at A Tribute to Mimi, held Friday at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse, NY. Performers included Jon Fishman, Merl Saunders and his Funky Friends, Col. Bruce Hampton and the Code Talkers and Sand Bear. At one point, Fishman, Saunders and members of the Codetalkers and Sand Bear took the stage for a rendition of The Weight. At the conclusion of the show, Hampton sang Lovelight as Saunders, Fishman and others performed along side of him.
