The Allman Brothers Band was joined by several special guests this weekend as it kicked off the first leg of its summer tour. Friday night at Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Pelham, AL, members of opening act Deep Banana Blackout sat in for Ive Been Lovin You Too Long and Southbound.
Saturday night at Amsouth Amphitheatre in Nashville, TN, the DBB horn section once again performed on Ive Been Lovin You Too Long and Southbound, which also featured Fuzz (DBB) on guitar. Former Allman Brothers Band guitarist Jack Pearson took the stage for Sailin’ ‘Cross The Devil’s Sea and Statesboro Blues. Other guests included Lee Roy Parnell (guitar) and Jimmy Hall (harmonica).
