This month we profile a site that is still developing, MuleArmy.com. Here are some words from Staff Moderator Kathleen Steppe…
Let me start by saying that we are grateful for the honor of being Jambands.com Fan Site Of The Month.
The Mule Army site was founded my Rich Granaas, administrator, on February 3, 2007.
As the Mule Army site approaches its 6 month anniversary in August, we have members from all over the world & the US. MuleArmy.com brings together a world-wide family of Govt Mule fansALL sharing a common love for the Govt Mule groove (be it, old school or new) & the LIVE music experience that has always come along with it!
What makes MuleArmy.com a cut above the rest? The interaction, that takes place on site.
It has been the staffs focus from day one to provide an interesting, innovative & POSITIVE forum where folks feel comfortable interacting with each other. We encourage interaction through a variety of options available on MuleArmy.com-Lyrics/Tabs, The Photo Gallery, Giveaways/Contests, Recent Setlists, (some while the show is happening), The Chat Box (I had a insightful chat with a member in Greece, just the other day), Rides/Ticket Stall, & my personal favoritehanging in the Staff Lounge (with Rich, Tony, Matt, Hiyori, Heather, and Nathan).
MuleArmy.com relays information related to Govt Mule, as well as, a wide variety of bands/artists with their recent news & tour dates posted right on site. Not to mention, ALL of the informative show reviews from our members in the states and abroad posted in the Mule Army Forums.
MuleArmy.com future projects include hosting a Govt Mule LIVE music torrent tracker~ To do our part to SHARE THE MUSIC, by way of audience recordings of the Mule, and other taper-friendly artists/bands that allow this kind of music trading~
We invite you to stop on by MuleArmy.com & check out the happenings.
Look forward to seeing you on site.
