Widespread Panic will co-headline the 9th annual Forecastle Festival for the second year in a row. The multi-day event will take place at Louisville’s Waterfront Park from July 9-11. This is the first time the event has been held in this location. Other bands confirmed to perform include: The Flaming Lips, Spoon, Bassnectar, Drive-by Truckers, The New Deal, Lucero, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, EOTO, Break Science, Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek, Dar Williams, Mucca Pazza, BoomBox, Mimosa, Savoy, Two Fresh, Company Of Thieves and Morning Teleportation. The influential emo band Cap ‘n Jazz will also perform as part of its first tour in 15 years. Forecastle 2010 will also feature over 75 bands, DJs, and electronic artists on four festival stages. Other 60 bands will be added to the festival’s lineup.
