The Avett Brothers will release Live, Volume 3 on October 5, 2010. The CD/DVD captures the band during a performance on August 8, 2009 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, NC on the eve of its crossover success. Live, Volume 3 was shot in HD and mixed by Ryan Hewitt, the engineer/mixer of I and Love and You. Additionally, the DVD will include documentary-style episodes, interspersed with interviews from the band and fans in attendance. The group will perform at Vancouver, BC’s Folk Music Festival this Friday.
