Widespread Panic will host a Tunes for Tots benefit at Atlanta’s Center Stage on September 23. As in years past, the intimate show will take place before the band plays a much larger venue in the area, this time Alpharetta, GA’s Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. Only 1,000 general admission tickets will be available for the benefit show and only 100 VIP tickets will be available to the event. VIP Tickets include cocktails with the band at open premium bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres catered by the renowned chef Hugh Acheson (Athens, GA’s 5&10 and Atlanta’s new Empire State South restaurants), early admittance to Center Stage for choice concert seating, a private cash bar during the Concert, a 2010 Tunes for Tots poster autographed by the band and VIP parking. The group will return to New York’s Radio City Music Hall tomorrow.
