The Northwest String Summit will celebrate its 10th anniversary this year and in conjunction with this milestone will release a DVD. The festival is encouraging fans to participate by creating original videos about the event, with three of these to be selected for the project. The full details are at the official site, which explains, “There are lots of stories to tell… Tell yours in 2 minutes or less. What do you love about NWSS and the music you hear there? What makes NWSS unique? Celebrate what you enjoy besides the music. Let the rest of the world stand in your shoes and enjoy the fun through your eyes and ears.” Beyond appearing on the DVD, winners also will receive a ticket to the 2012 Northwest String Summit and festival merchandise.
