Ollabelle will perform their new studio album Neon Blue Bird in its entirety later this week. The performance will take place New York’s Bowery Ballroom on Friday, October 7. After running through Neon Blue Bird the members of Ollabelle will play a second set of past favorites. In addition to band mainstays Amy Helm (vocals/mandola), Fiona McBain (vocals/guitar), Tony Leone (vocals/drums), Byron Isaacs (vocals/bass) and Glenn Patscha (vocals/keys/organ), several guests will join Ollabelle throughout the night, including original Ollabelle guitarist Jimi Zhivago (who appears on the new album). A horn section featuring John Ellis and Clark Gayton is also slated to perform with the group.
