Poor Man’s Whiskey only has a few shows on the books for the rest of the year but they are all shaping up to be special events. As previously reported, the group will perform at Placerville, CA’s Hangtown Halloween Ball on October 29 as well as San Francisco, CA’s The Fillmore Auditorium on November 11. The latter show—which falls on the comic day 11/11/11—will find the band performing “Darkside of the Moonshine” with special guest Michael Kang. In addition, Poor Man’s Whiskey will close the year with two December shows. On December 30 the band will appear at Portland, OR’s Roseland Theater with Leftover Salmon while on December 31 they will ring in 2012 at Sebastopol, CA’s The Abbey at The Hopmonk Tavern.
