The Roots will headline this summer’s Philly Fourth of July Jam. An annual Philadelphia tradition, this year’s Fourth of July Jam will take place on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway thought the afternoon of Independence Day. In addition to The Roots, the event will feature Daryl Hall, Queen Latifah, Common and Joe Jonas. Roots drummer Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson will serve as the event’s musical, and music will kick off at Noon. Last year’s Philly Fourth of July Jam drew over 500,000 fans.
