Saxophonist Michael Kammers and his MK Groove Orchestra have announced a three-week residency at Williamsburg, NY’s brand new venue The Paper Box each Thursday in September. The residency marks the tenth anniversary of the group and will feature a list of guests including Bobby Previte, Zongo Junction, Trey Anastasio Trombonist Natalie Cressman and more. Kammers recently performed at SummerStage as a part of A King of Infinite Space—a version of Shakespeare’s Hamlet set to a reimagined score drawn from Pearl Jam’s classic album, Ten. He has toured nationally with the Suite Unraveling and the Funk Ark, internationally with the Easy Star Orchestra, and regionally with MK3.
