Joan Osborne will play the first New Year’s run at Phil Lesh’s San Rafael, CA venue Terrapin Crossroads. Osborne will perform at the new space on December 30 and 31, offering a two-set show on New Year’s Eve itself. RatDog guitarist Mark Karan and longtime Osborne keyboardist Keith Cotton will back the singer on both nights, and Karan will open both performances. Since Osborne has played in both Phil & Friends and The Dead, it is entirely possible the venue’s owner will pop by after his show with Furthur one night.
