New Orleans’ Mayor Mitch Landrieu has announced the line up for the NOLA Pay It Forward Concert to benefit Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. The event will include performances by Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Irvin Mayfield, Amanda Shaw, Stephanie Jordan, James Andrews, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Mia Borders, Khris Royal, Sasha Masakowski, Stooges Brass Band and the Wild Magnolias with Big Chief Monk Boudreaux. The event will take place November 20 at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in New Orleans. Proceeds from the concert will go to the NOLA Pay it Forward Fund and will be used to support non-profits that are assisting with Hurricane Sandy relief and recovery efforts. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here. Ticketmaster will also donate $3.90 from every ticket’s service fee to the NOLA Pay it Forward fund.
