Primus will release a reissue of their acclaimed album Sailing The Seas Of Cheese on May 21, 2013. The album has been newly mixed in stereo and Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. The deluxe package includes the new stereo mix on CD as well as the surround sound mix on a Blu-ray/DVD. The set will also include two live recordings from Primus’ 2012 tour as well as a remix of “Here Comes The Bastards” by Bassnectar. There will also be a 200-gram vinyl LP released featuring the stereo mix of the album. 1000 randomly selected and unmarked copies of the vinyl will contain a “Mystery Vinyl”. The “Mystery Vinyl” will have the album pressed on yellow vinyl rather than black. All of the restoration was personally overseen by Les Claypool.
