Last night, moe. commenced night one of their New Year’s stand at the Kodak Center in Rochester, N.Y. The Dec. 30 show featured mainly material from their personal archive. To start the show, moe. kicked off their appearance with a cover of Deep Purple’s “Space Truckin’,” which merged into the band’s original, “Crab Eyes.”

The ensemble segued into Ghosts of Jupiter’s “Yellow Tiger” before looping back into “Crab Eyes.” Fan favorite “Happy Hour Hero” emerged prior to an ensuing take on “SOMP.” After a momentary pause, the frame resumed with “Haze,” followed by “Woodworm.” The previous play ran into “Okayalright,” representing the final song before the set break.

Returning to the stage for the latter portion of the night, moe. cut into the Chuck Garvey-scribed “Hi and Lo” and added in “Kyle’s Song” paired with “Kids.” In time, moe. performed “Letter Home,” followed by a cover of The Allman Brothers Band’s “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” and closed out their second set on “Billy Goat.”

For the evening’s encore, moe. returned to the Kodak Center stage to perform their original “Faker.” After last night’s concert, the band will return to the Western New York Venue for their final stand on Dec. 31.

Tickets remain on sale for tonight’s New Year’s Eve celebration and can be purchased here.
