Tonight, The String Cheese Incident are scheduled to commence their three-night run at The Belly Up in Aspen, Colo. The group followed up today via social media and shared that their bassist, Keith Moseley, had emergency surgery last night. As a result, he will not perform during the band’s impending Centennial State stand.

The band provided context pertaining to their lineup shift, posting on Instagram, “Unfortunately, our brother on the bass, Keith Moseley, was forced late yesterday to have emergency surgery to repair a damaged retina and will be unable to play this week’s shows in Aspen.”

They continued, adding, “All 3 Belly Up Incidents will still happen as planned, and we’ll be joined by several other great bassists and friends, including Mike Devol (Greensky Bluegrass), Paul McDaniel (Kyle Hollingsworth Band), and Miles Altgelt (The Cream Cheese Accident).”

The String Cheese Incident concluded their post with, “Join us in sending healthy vibes out to Moose as he recovers.” Scroll down to view the band’s message via Instagram.
