Today, Grammy Award-winning rock-and-roll big band Tedeschi Trucks Band, led by the soulful Susan Tedeschi and venerable Derek Trucks, announced they’ll perform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., this summer on July 28 and 29.
The performances will mark the 12th year Tedeschi Trucks Band have headlined the beautiful natural outdoor venue. Tedeschi Trucks Band, who are currently on tour in support of their latest release I Am The Moon, will enjoy support from the country and blues singer-songwriter Vincent Neil Emerson.
The unstoppable ensemble, comprised of Tedeschi (guitar, vocals), Trucks (guitar), Gabe Dixon (keyboards, vocals), Brandon Boone (bass), Tyler “Falcon” Greenwell (drums, percussion), Isaac Eady (drums, percussion), Mike Mattison (vocals, guitar), Mark Rivers (harmony vocals), Alecia Chakour (harmony vocals), Kebbi Williams (saxophone), Ephraim Owens (trumpet), and Elizabeth Lea (trombone) have traveled hundreds of miles since forming in 2010 and their latest release finds them at their most collaborative, innovative and emotive – perfect for those who wish to stargaze as they’re serenade by some of the most revered rock-and-roll artists of their time.
Tickets for Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Red Rock Amphitheatre performances be available for presale on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. local time with a general on sale starting on Friday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. local time.
